Just remembered these when i was putting together the 'Love Letters' post. Almost lost my shit when I first saw them, even thought they're from the 1880's - 1920's they still hold up and in fact mop the floor a lot of contemporary typography. Especially when you consider they're all hand-drawn. The shading and depth is just nuts. Check it out :
